【辨异】complaint 与 trouble、illness、sick-ness 和 disease都可指身体或某一器官的不健康或不正常状况。complaint指病症，医生口中指各种大小毛病，如：“What's your complaint?” the doctor asked.(大夫问：“你哪儿不舒服?”)trouble(病)亦泛指各种大小毛病，最广泛地用于口语中，如：“What's your trouble?” she asked her child.(她问她孩子：“你哪儿不舒服?”)illness(病，不健康)和sickness(病，不健康;作呕)皆指身体不适的状态或时期，可能是由于disease引起的;两者中sickness更常用，illness 稍正式一点，如：be absent because of sickness(因病缺席);recover after a long illness(久病后康复);只有disease(疾病)才指医学上具体的“疾病”，可能是传染的，如：a skin/heart disease(皮肤/心脏病)。
