(3)喜欢(用，穿)(like or use as a matter of personal preference)[T+n](常derog)：～bright colours/long words/old furniture/striped shirts喜欢鲜艳的颜色/长字眼/旧家具/带条纹的衬衣;

→ ͵affec′tation n 假装，装模作样;af′fected adj 假装的，不自然的;

【用法】用于第(2)义时，其后名词前只可用定冠词，不用不定冠词;用于第(1)义时，其后名词前可不用冠词或用不定冠词。

【辨异】affect²与assume和pretend都可表示“假装”的意思。affect²指有意装出某种品质，以给他人留下好的印象，如：affect shyness(假装害羞);assume指装出某一特别的样子，以掩饰真正的感情，往往是为了欺骗，如：assume an air of indifference(装出漠不关心的样子);pretend指装出某一想象的特性或做什么，就好像真有其事的样子，如：pretend sorrow(假装伤心)。
