(2)骗术(dishonest，deceitful trick)[C]：It was a～. I didn't get what I paid for.这是骗局，我付了款却没有得到要的东西。

【辨异】cheat与deceive和trick都表示“骗”的意思。cheat 是“欺骗”以得到好处(“骗取”);deceive(蒙骗，诓骗)指诱骗人产生错觉以使其不知真相，如：to use a mock attack to deceive the enemy(用佯攻蒙骗敌人);trick(哄骗)，指用狡黠不诚实的小计谋蒙骗人，如：trick sb into signing a note(哄骗人签署一张票据)。
