【辨异】grieve与 mourn 均指由于悲痛而表现出痛苦。grieve 是情感更强烈的词，表示深深的，经常是独自地，默默地忍受的精神痛苦，例如：grieve over the death of a friend(对一位朋友的死感到很悲伤);mourn(哀痛，哀悼)通常指外在表现出来的痛苦，如：mourn　publicly and wear black(公开哀悼并戴黑纱)。
