【辨异】 famous与celebrated及distinguished 均表示著名。famous 为常用词，如：A large crowd of people greeted the famous hero. (众人向那位著名的英雄致意。)celebrated (著名的，弛名的) 原来表示记念的，但现在则表示由于突出的品质或业绩而著名或弛名，如：He is one of the most celebrated writers in this country. (他是该国最著名的作家之一。) 而distinguished(卓越的，杰出的) 则表示享有某种声誉，如：He is a distinguished musician. (他是一位卓越的音乐家。)
