【辨异】recite和relate 都表示“告诉，报告或描述事情的详情”。recite表示按顺序一字不差地重复，如：recite a poem(背诵一首诗);relate(叙述)表示对事情(件)及情况的叙述，如：relate one's adventures(讲述自己的冒险经历)。
