【用法】learn by/from experience中的by指做某事的方式，如： The best way to learn is to learn by experience. (学习的最佳方式就是靠经验去学。) 而 from 则指某种知识的来源，如： I learned that from my own experience. (我是从自己的经验中了解到那一点的。)

【辨异】experience及undergo都表示“经历”或“体验”。experience 指所经历的事愉快或不愉快，长久或者短暂，重要或者不重要，如：It was the first time that he had experienced the sense of beauty/prejudice. (那是他第一次体验到美/遭受偏见。)undergo 则表示经历不愉快、痛苦或危险，如： The explorers underwent much suffering. (探险者们遭受了很多痛苦。)
