agree with (v prep)适合，对胃口(vt)(用于否定或疑问句)(infml)：Onion/Oyster/Cheese doesn't～with me.洋葱/牡蛎/奶酪不对我的胃口。The long plane trip/climate here/damp weather/military life does not～with him (his rheumatism).乘飞机长途旅行/这里的气候/潮湿的天气/军旅生活对他(他的风湿病)不适合。

【说明】agree to (sth) 意为“同意，接受”(见第(1)义)，agree with(sth)意为“赞同”(意见一致)(见第(2)义)，如：We～to the policy without～ing with it.(我们接受这政策，但并不赞同。)agree with (sb)除用于上面的成语外，还表示“与某人意见一致”的意思(见第(2)义);agree on 表示“就某事取得一致意见”(见第(2)义);agree about后接表示所讨论、考虑并为此取得(不)一致意见的事情的名词(见第(2)义);agree among 指在一群人内部取得一致意见(见第(2)义)。

【辨异】1)agree与correspond 和coincide都有“相符合(一致)”的意思。agree 最常用，往往可以取代另外两个字，强调两者特征、看法、要素相同(小至稍微的相似，大至实质上的一致);correspond(相符)指两者间有可比拟的方面(有一致之处，但也有差异);coincide(相同)指完全一致，如：His career goals and the wishes of his parents for him coincide.(他的奋斗目标和父母对他的希望完全一致。)还有accord(相符)也指完全一致，如：Their actions accorded with her wishes.(他们的行为与她的愿望相符。)2)agree与consent都表示“同意”。agree是通常用词，指在任何程度的劝说或反对之下表示同意，如：agree to go/to a request/to a demand(同意走/一请求/一要求);consent(同意，答应)是积极、肯定地同意，指相当重要的事情，如：consent to become engaged(同意订婚)。
