【辨异】connect 与 join 和 unite 都表示把两个或多个东西不同程度地连在一起。connect 指用电线、带子等把东西连接起来，如：connect two batteries(把两电池接通);join(连结)指直接接触地连在一起(松紧程度则可不同)，如：join pieces of wood to form a corner(把几块木头接在一起形成一个角);unite(联合，结合)指紧密连接而形成一体，如：unite layers of veneer sheets to form plywood(把薄木片合成胶合板)。
