蹊xī

[书] Ⅰ  ❶ （小路） footpath; path: 桃李不言， 下自成 ～。Peaches and plums do not have to talk, yet the world beats a path to them.
❷ （足迹） footmark; footprint Ⅱ  （践踏） trample; tread: 牵牛以 ～人之田， 而夺之牛。 He led his ox to trample on another man's field and the ox was taken from him.
