much of a muchness 极其相似：The sound on the radio these days all sounds～of a muchness to me. 这些日子收音机里的声音我听起来大致都差不多。

as much as　1)等于，差不多：That is as～as to say that I am wrong.那差不多等于说我错了。She as～as admitted she was not successful.她几乎承认没有取得成功。2)和……一样，正如：It's as～your responsibility as ours.这是我们的责任，也同样是你们的责任。He was as～a man as anybody else.他和任何人一样，也是一个男人。

much as 尽管：M～as I'd like to see the film I must work tonight.尽管我很想去看电影，但是我今晚得工作。

much the same 情况大致相同：The two schools are～the same. 这两所学校的情况几乎一样。

much less 更不用说，何况：She wouldn't take a drink，～less stay for dinner.她连饮料都不想喝，更别提留下吃饭了。
