大器晚成dà qì wǎn chéng

a great man becomes famous late in life; great implement is slow to finish;great instruments are never quickly forged; great minds mature slowly; great vessels take years to produce; a great talent takes time to cultivate

In a melancholy mood I have gone through these proofs,hoping that better scholars will soon produce a more authoritative book.
