arrive at (v prep)做(得)出，达成，取得(vt)：～at a decision/an agreement/a conclusion/a solution to a problem/an understanding做出决定/达成协议/得出结论/取得问题的解决/达成谅解;

【惯用法】 在表示小地方的名词之前用arrive at;在表示大地方(国家，大城市)的名词前一般用arrive in。

【辨异】 arrive与come都可表示“到来”。arrive指到达行为或状态的终点;而come很少涉及实际到达的时刻，而是指此前的行为。
