四不拗六sì bù niù liùthe minority cannot go against the will of the majority ❍ 古语云: “三占从二”;今谚云: “~”; 言贵从众也。(《杨升庵集》) The ancients said,“When three men obtain and interpret the indications and symbols,the consenting words of two of them are to be followed.” A present proverb says,“The four people should not make a group of six people change their minds.” The two proverbs mean to say that it is imperative to follow the majority. |
