(2)无论(随便)何处(in，at or to no matter what place;one place out of many)(可引起从句，此时等于where)：Just drive me around，～.就开车带我随便走走，哪儿都行。He puts his things～except in their proper place.他把东西到处乱放，就是不放在该放的地方。“Where shall I put this?”“A～will do.”“我把这放在哪儿?”“哪儿都行。”A～(= wherever) she goes，he goes too.她去哪儿，他也去哪儿。You can live～(= wherever) you like/you want.你可以住在任何你想住的地方。

if anywhere 如果在哪儿：You will find him in the library if～.如果在什么地方能找到他的话，那么就只有图书馆了。

or anywhere 或是别的什么地方：If you want to go to the theatre or～，use my car.你要是想去看戏或去别的地方，开我的车去吧。

anywhere near 几乎，将近;在某种程度上：Are we～near solving the problem? 我们是不是快要解决这个问题了? Does my answer come～near the correct one? 我的回答是不是快接近正确答案了? She isn't～near as old as you think she is.她一点也不像你以为的那么老。

anywhere from...to/between...and(数目)在……至(和)……之间：The temperature is～from 40℃ to 60℃/between 40℃ and 60℃.温度在摄氏40至60度之间。

pron 任何地方(any place)：We haven't～to stay with so many people around.周围这么多人，我们都无处可呆了。Is there～we could go and talk for a few minutes? 有什么地方我们可以去聊一会儿吗?

【说明】 在infml用法中，可用anyplace(adv)代替anywhere。其他如：everyplace，noplace，someplace等副词也可相应地代替everywhere，nowhere，somewhere等。但注意，人们一般倾向于用后者。
